Isdaan - Gerona, Tarlac

One of the most unique restaurants in the Philippines. Isdaan, a floating restaurant concept with a fusion of Buddhist and Filipino culture. It's kinda weird but somehow works well, has earned and continuously earns patrons from both North and South food adventurers.

I'll let the pictures do the talking! ;)

Precious Moments at Isdaan: December 2010

Saint Agustin Church, Lubao, Pampanga

I remember dearly this wedding we attended in Pampanga in December 2012. It was a wedding of my Tito's long-time friends. They have been together for a long time, and, like the Legazpi's (Carmina and Zoren) they already have children. It was a beautiful wedding of a strong and happy couple held at the Church were Mikey Arroyo (son of former president Gloria Arroyo) exchanged vows with his other half. :)

Since this is actually a travel blog so, you're gonna see more of the place rather than the event itself.

Baguio City December

Ladies and gentlemen, May I present to you the "Summer Capital of the Philippines" Baguio City! You may wonder how it was awarded the title: Since Philippines is a tropical country, it is usually hot and humid and Filipinos favor it as a retreat during regular seasons especially holidays because of the cold and foggy weather.

Ocean View, Subic

Looking for good and affordable place to enjoy the beach near Manila? Try Ocean View in Subic Bay, Olongapo.
Another jumpshot for a great summer with my cousins :)

Compared to Boracay, Subic beaches does not offer a mall of souvenirs and a lot of fancy restaurants all in one place . You'd have to tour around Subic Bay Metropolitan Area or the whole of Subic to experience the facilities and a lot of other attractions the place can offer. It would take you 10 to 40 minutes to get to some major attractions of Subic, Olongapo.

Anawangin Cove, San Antonio, Zambales 2010

The Philippines shores is loaded with beautiful beaches. Some flooded with tourists during peak season, but as we all know, there's a lot more to be discovered and preserved in our country. One of them is Anawangin Cove in San Antonio, Zambales. It is known amongst beach bums and travellers by now, since it is famous for its white sand beach and lush green pine forest, just 20 minutes via boat from San Antonio Town, in Zambales.

Curiosity

A beautiful morning in Bolinao. Sitting with friends on the terrace of our villa when I noticed a few dogs enjoying the summer breeze along the shores. I, being a natural dog lover tried to whistle to call their attention. This adult dog came closer hesitantly.. and closer after a few more minutes. Sitting steadily, it gave me a great impression of curiosity, sadness and interest.
It is amazing how other creatures share our emotions and sentiments all the time. Animals, unlike us do not think twice when they try to save our lives, yet we continue to disregard their needs most of the time. They need our guidance, our love and hugs and they're not afraid to admit it. They are unconditionally loyal and loving despite our social status and bad behavior. They are happy when we are happy, sad when we're down and extatic when there's a smile on our face, or simply jump and twirl the moment we get home.

I'm a person who interpret a million things seeing just a little detail. I believe it is my gift being a history buff. And I hope I help someone today. I aim to inspire people everyday, even from a distance.
